Lots of Food
Mark 6:41-44

⁴¹ Jesus took the five loaves and the two fish. He looked up to heaven and gave thanks. He broke the loaves into pieces. Then he gave them to his disciples to set in front of the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. ⁴² All of them ate and were satisfied. ⁴³ The disciples picked up 12 baskets of broken pieces of bread and fish. ⁴⁴ The number of men who had eaten was 5,000.

Jesus used the little boy’s lunch to feed 5,000 men! Women and kids ate too. It was a miracle! Only God could do that.

Think!

The Bible says, “Give thanks to him and praise his name” (Psalm 100:4). When was the last time you thanked God for meeting your needs?

You can thank God for your life. Thank Him for your food. Thank Him for those who take care of you. Thank Him for giving His Son to die on the cross for you. The next time you want to complain, say thank you instead!

Dear God, thank You for meeting my needs. Thank You for all You have done for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
