Fish and Bread
Mark 6:37-38

The disciples wanted to send the people away.

³⁷ But Jesus answered, “You give them something to eat.” They said to him, “That would take eight months of a person’s pay! Should we go and spend that much on bread? Are we supposed to feed them?” ³⁸ ”How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Go and see.” When they found out, they said, “Five loaves and two fish.”

The disciples found a boy with a lunch. He had five small loaves of bread and two small fish (John 6:8). The boy gave his lunch to help the hungry people.

Think!

You do not have to be an adult to serve God. He can use you now to help others.

God can use your hands to do kind things. What kind thing can you do? He can use your feet to take you to someone who needs help. Who could you help? God can use your mouth to tell someone about Him. Who can you tell? Ask God to use you to help other people.

Dear God, I’m glad I can serve You. Please use me to help other people. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
