Hungry People
Mark 6:35-36

The people had been listening to Jesus teach all day

35 By that time it was late in the day. His disciples came to him. “There is nothing here,” they said. “It’s already very late. 36 Send the people away. They can go and buy something to eat in the nearby countryside and villages.”

The disciples were worried about feeding the hungry people.

Think!

Everyone has worries. What do you worry about? Food? Clothes? Family? God knows about your worries. Tell Him about them and trust Him to help.

Get a paper bag and write “worry bag” on it. Write the things you worry about on small pieces of paper. As you tell God about each thing, put that paper in the bag. Let it remind you that you have given your worries to God. He will take care of them.

You can pray like this:

Dear God, Help me not to worry. Help me give my worries to You. I want to trust You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
