Just Believe
Mark 5:35-36

Jesus stopped on the way to Jairus’s house.

³⁵ While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus. He was the synagogue ruler. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?” ³⁶ But Jesus didn’t listen to them. He told the synagogue ruler, “Don’t be afraid. Just believe.”

The people told Jairus he was too late. But Jesus told him to believe. Could Jairus believe God in such a big problem? Could you?

Think!

Big problems can make you afraid. Maybe it is hard to believe God can help you. Remember, nothing is too hard for God! God wants you to believe Him. That means to trust Him completely and know He will keep His promises.

The Bible says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. And do not be afraid” (John 14:27). Even your big problem is not too big for God!

Dear God, when I am afraid, help me believe in You. Help me remember nothing is too hard for You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
