Can You Trust Him?
Mark 4:40-41

Jesus had just calmed a wild storm!

⁴⁰ He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid?” Don’t you have any faith at all yet?” ⁴¹ They were terrified. They asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

Having faith means trusting God, even if you are afraid.

Think!

Sometimes trusting is hard. Maybe someone you trusted let you down. You think God will let you down too. Maybe you think your problem is too hard for God.

The Bible says, “You [God] have made the heavens and the earth. Nothing is too hard for you” (Jeremiah 32:17). God will not let you down. He may not always do what you think He should do. But you can always trust Him.

You can pray like this:

Dear God, I’m glad that nothing is too hard for You. Please help me trust You when I am afraid. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
