"Who am I that the mother of my Lord (= Mary) should come to me? The moment I heard your greeting, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. Blessed are you (Mary) because you have believed, for what the Lord has told you will be fulfilled." Luke 1, 43-45
The pregnant Elizabeth was very happy when Mary, who was also pregnant, came to visit her. Even the child leapt for joy in her womb when Mary arrived. Mary stayed with Elizabeth and Zechariah for three months.
