Simeon had to wait 40 years for his greatest wish to be fulfilled. Perhaps even longer. But he never gave up hope.
One day he went to the temple. Just then, Mary and Joseph arrived with the baby Jesus. Simeon saw Jesus. Now his greatest wish was fulfilled. With great joy, he took the baby Jesus in his arms and prayed.
