Jesus - The Good Shepherd
Using the example of the flock of sheep and the shepherd, Jesus explained who He is.
“I am the Good Shepherd” said Jesus. “The Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep” (John 10:11).
Jesus gave His life for us. Although He had never done anything wrong, Jesus was punished by God for the wrong things we have done!
Jesus willingly took God’s punishment for our sins. That is how much He loves you! He sacrificed His life for you, so that your sins could be washed away.
